SVG recommended — stays crisp at every size, including 12 px

Three steps. Zero friction.

No accounts, no uploads to a server, no plugins. Just drop your logo and get the answers you need in seconds.

01

Upload your logo

Drag and drop — or click to browse — your SVG, PNG, JPG, or WebP file. Files are read entirely in your browser; nothing is ever sent to a server. For best results, use an SVG so every size stays crisp and vector-sharp.

02

Preview all 10 sizes at once

The tool renders your logo simultaneously at Hero (800 px), Website Nav, Email Signature, Social Avatar, WhatsApp DP, Business Card, App Icon, Touch Icon, Favicon, and Footnote sizes. Switch between light, dark, and transparent backgrounds to spot contrast issues instantly.

03

Download the scale audit PNG

Hit the Download button to generate a 1200 × 1600 px audit sheet showing all sizes in a single portfolio-ready image. Share it with clients, attach it to a brand guidelines deck, or post it as a case study on social media.

Why logo scale testing matters before you deliver

A logo that looks stunning at 600 px in Figma can completely fall apart at 16 px as a browser favicon. Thin strokes disappear. Letterforms blur together. Negative space collapses. These aren't edge cases — they're the standard real-world sizes every brand identity lives at.

Logo scale testing used to require a designer to manually place the logo at each target size inside Figma, a PDF, or Illustrator, then export screenshots one by one. The Logo Scale Tester replaces that entire workflow with a single browser tab: upload once, see every size instantly, export a shareable audit sheet.

The tool renders SVG logos inline — which means they stay mathematically perfect at any size, the same way a browser renders them in production. Raster formats (PNG, JPG) are rendered via the native Canvas API at exact pixel dimensions, so what you see in the tool is exactly what users will see in the wild.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Logo Scale Tester completely free?

Yes — all features including the scale audit PNG export are free with no account required. There are no tiers, no watermarks, and no paywalls.

Does my logo get uploaded to your server?

No. Your logo file never leaves your browser. Everything — file reading, SVG sanitization, rendering, and PNG export — happens entirely client-side using the FileReader API. This is an architectural privacy guarantee, not a policy.

What file types are supported?

SVG, PNG, JPG, and WebP files up to 5 MB. SVG is strongly recommended because it renders crisply at all sizes including 12 px and 16 px. PNG also works well for logos with transparency.

Why does my SVG look blurry at small sizes?

SVG itself never blurs — it's vector. If your logo looks unclear at 12–16 px it means the design has fine detail that physically cannot render at that scale. This is the entire point of the tool: to discover these issues before production.

What is the scale audit PNG export?

The Download button generates a 1200 × 1600 px portrait PNG showing all size variants on one page, labeled by use case. Designers use this to present logo scale testing to clients or to post on social media.

Which sizes are tested?

10 standard real-world sizes: Hero/Web Header (800px), Website Nav (200px), Email Signature (150px), Social Avatar (128px), WhatsApp DP (96px), Business Card (60px), App Icon (48px), Touch Icon (32px), Favicon (16px), and Footnote/Watermark (12px).
